How does one install the SSL true site seal on main page? Or any page for that matter.

How does one install the SSL true site seal on main page? Or any page for that matter.

I've looked at the geotrust installation procedure, and their knowledge base but find nothing for cafecommerce.

you can edit the content area for a page you wish to show the seal on and add the image code.

Ok, tried putting the code on the home page but no go.

The image properties info box is confusing as to where would any of this go?

dont use the image insert option, to install the true site seal, you need to copy the code that geotrust provides, and past it to your page.

in the case of a page in cafe commerce, you use the source option in the content toolbar to access the pages source code and past the code for the seal in the source code.

Ok, so to be clear,
In my cafecommerce manage pages & navigation I right click on "home", click "view page source" and put the code from geotrust in there?

And if so does it matter exactly where?

I have some very limited experience in this aspect...I did have a phpbb site I manually added mods to, but only carefully following instructions.

Thanks for your replies by the way.

In the Cafe Comerce admin panel, go to pages and navigation.

Select the home page.

Click the Modify Content button

Notice that some areas of the page will have a Edit link, locate the editable area of the page you want to add the seal to and click the edit button to edit that content area.

in the toolbar click the source button and paste the source code provided by geotrust.
