Update Record Server Behavior - Increment Column

I have a simple form wrapping a download button. When the user click the download button (the form submit button), the form links you to a PDF. But i need it to also run an Update Record Server Behavior to increment a download count in my database

The increment is not working in my update record server behavior. Not sure why, attached is my code.

use the file download behavior instead of a link.

in the file download settings you can specify a download count column.

Jason,

I couldn't use the File Download SB, as it requires the file to reside on the same domain.

After rebuilding a couple times, I was able to get it working. I think the issue was I had my count column in my database set to default: NULL and I had to change it to default: 0 or 1 for the increment to begin.

...and the increment value had to be:

<?php echo $row_rsDownloadCount['downloadCount']+1; ?>

instead of

<?php echo $row_rsDownloadCount['downloadCount']++; ?>

for some reason.
