Product inventory quantity on product catalog page

I want to be able to list the quantity of a product available on the product page. For example, if I have 12 widgets in stock, I want people to see something like "In stock: 12" on the product page. This is important to us as we're selling items people would buy multiple quantities of, and we need people to see how many are available.

Cafe Commerce does not have the ability show the number that are in stock

when an item is added to the cart, the quantity is checked against the stock level though to ensure that it is still available if not, the quantity is reduced to the number available. Another check is also done before the order is processed.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately that won't work for us then, but otherwise kudos on your system, it looks good.
