Unable to pass Session Variable from Update Form Page to Second Update Form Page

I have attached the two update form pages. I am building a 2-part update.

Problem:

I am trying to "on form submit" set session variable named "WADA_Update_mre".
THen I need to retrieve that Session variable on the second update page and filter a recordset named rsProperty.

I cannot get the session variable to pass to the second update page.

Please let me know what i am doing wrong (see attached code).

thnx
Daniel

your code to set the session:
<?php
if (!session_id()) session_start();
if($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST") {
$_SESSION["WADA_Update_mre"] = "".$row_WADAmre['autoNum'] ."";
}
?>

is at lines 11- 16. this is before the code for the WADAmre recordset which is at line 64 - 72.

the session must be set after the recordset, not before.
