Chrome and IE go to different paes when Update button is clicked

I have a results table with update button that when clicked in Chrome takes you to the correct URL however in IE takes you to a page with an extra directory in the URL

Button Code;

<input type="button" class="formButton ResultsPageButton btn btn-primary UpdateButton" value="" onclick="document.location.href='../CMS/UpdateCourse.php?CourseID=<?php echo($row_WADAcourses['CourseID']); ?>
<?php echo(isset($_GET["pageNum_WADAcourses"])?"&pageNum_WADAcourses=".intval($_GET["pageNum_WADAcourses"]):""); ?>';"/>

Path in Chrome -
Pathe in IE -

Note the extra CMS directory thats added

Any ideas?
