Map won't show

Hi, I'm having problems getting my map to load. When I preview my website on IE, it shows everything except the contents of the map itself, which is instead entirely in gray. Your help will be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Map Won't Show

Location.html

On the actual website, the app doesn't appear at all. When I preview it in IE, the google maps app is shown, but no part of the map appears.

When i view source of your page I see the following at the top:

<script type="text/javascript" src="google_javascript/wagmp_map_6.js">/*wagmp*/</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=2&key=ABQIAAAAAYjC13GfkbKRCKF_zBjqhBRuRkmfJn3fDiHectdW2tOoSFegJxRLYwFDGFdXLNJmGGyAbCvkQ3Ccfg">/*wagmp*/</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="google_javascript/wagmp_map_5.js">/*wagmp*/</script>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

1) Those script tags should not come before the doctype tag. They need to be moved so they are between the <head> and </head> tags.

2) If I try to open those scripts, I get a 404 page not found error .please make sure to upload the entire google_javascript folder to the server.

Follow-up

Hi,

Thanks. I followed your advice and have made progress. The only remaining issues are as follows (the page is Location)

1. The map doesn't appear when I use Opera as my browser (it works on IE, Safari, and Firefox).
2. Is there a way I can shrink the size of the white balloon (not sure what it's called) that currently shows "Song PLLC" on the map itself?

Many thanks again.

Seams to be a problem with the Google Map API in Opera 9.6, I have tested on a number of different computer running opera from 9.2 to 9.6, all but 9.6 display the map correctly.

The info window is created dynamically by the Google API, the size cannot be changed.
