charge shipping by zip code mileage

I deliver locally and need to charge shipping based on zip code or mileage. Can I do that? If so, How?

Thanks!

The only options that would calculate based on the users location would be to use one of the rate lookup services like USPS.

cafe Commerce does not offer custom shipping rules that use the zip code.

So, do I have to sign up with USPS? And use them? If so, are there any ecommerce options where I can use zip codes or distance without using usps, etc? Thanks!

USPS or another shipping lookup provider would be the only way to do shipping based on zip code in Cafe Commerce.

eCart is an extension that we offer that you could use to build an eCommerce site.

you could set up a database table that contained zip codes and the shipping rate for that zip and use a lookup search to find the shipping to apply in eCart:
