Product Options w/ Price Increments

We had some custom coding which allowed a different method of assigning and modifying product options. Our option select list values are "<?php echo $row_rsOptions['OptionGroupName']?>: <?php echo $row_rsOptions['OptionName']?>;" which displays something like "Boot Size: Large", "Boot Size: Medium", etc. This is binded with the "option" column in ecart. It works great. But now we want to bind the OptionPriceIncrement field with eCart to modify the price of certain products/options, but we have no way to filter the recordset with an OptionID from the select list. I tried modifying the values to OptionPriceIncrement, but it broke the options select list.

My question is this: What method could we use to bind the correct OptionPriceIncrement using the selected option?

Attached is our ProductDetail.php page. Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance!!! (I really like the new forum, btw!)

When working with product options that effect price, you need to have the option select list use the OptionID as the value.

you then create a lookup recordset that will lookup the option name name the price increment values for the selected option and use the lookup recordset to populate the cart.

see the product options tutorial for details:

Thank you for the quick reply. While trying to solve this mystery, I have carefully looked over the steps in the Product Options with eCart tutorial. The method by which options are displayed in the tutorial is different than the method we are using.

We used premium support ticket, and Ray logged in and coded a wonderful options method which allows for unlimited and multiple product groups. I'm looking for some direction on how to integrate priceincrements using this method, if it is possible.

So, I suppose my question is really: Are there any alternative ways to use price increments without OptionsID as the value in the select list?
