Need help to create a seesion/cookie or ?, that enables my security assist show region UserGroupId validation. I used the tutorial User-depentend-Menu Options

Following the tutorial it was easy to get the show region assistant displaying and hiding menu items, if a user is logged in or not. It seams, that I am unable to make the special access rule for useres working. The number in the table UserGroupId, that i created before having security assist building pages, is not getting recognised during a session. My mistake, I guess is, that I am not able to write a proper session behaviour for saving the UserGroupId while a user is logging in. I tried for 2 days, but I don't get any further.

edit the Security Assist Authenticate User server behavior on the login page.

go to the session tab, click the Plus button and select the UserGroupId column to have it saved to a session at login.

Thanks you Jason, found it, but making mistakes editing the SecurityAssistAuthentiucateUser - Server Behaviour. I am getting as a result on my index page Notice: Undefined variable: b1_bago in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/dynamic_site/TMPXKUKUB.php on line 3
Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/dynamic_site/TMPXKUKUB.php on line 3

this error means that the page is not able to connect to the mySQL server.

make sure the mamp MySQL Service is started, and double check that the connection details entered in the Connections/b1_bago.php file are correct.
