Script Error

When opening DW CS4 it says "Unable to open Script File C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\Library\WA_Configuration.js (error 3).

First of all I am learning all these stuff so send me step by step instructions. I looked at "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration\Shared" and there is no WebAssist folder.

After clicking OK then it says "Unable to find file WA_Memento.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory. The Floater will not be shown. There is no file with such a name in the Floaters folder. I have not doing anything with these files.

What can I do either to fix it or to get rid of the messages?

Thanks

Try deleting your winfilecache. Here's a thread that goes over how to do this:

Already done

I already did it with the same results. You knw I posted this problem a week ago and have not received any answer from Webassist. First of all I did not install the files and now they do nothing. I do not want to fix it now I just want to get rid of this problem.

I replied the day after you posted. If that didn't solve the issue, you should post back to let me know that, since I have no way to determine that what I suggested had not worked for you.

If you want to disable memento, you can go in to edit->WebAssist Preferences and in the Memento section set the Show on Dreamweaver Startup to never.
