Iphone /ipod touch emulator ?

I have a strange issue where I have a list spanning 3 columns, which looks fine in IE, FF, safari and chrome, and on my (android) tablet (dolphin) and my ipad (4, safari) but on my iphone 5 and ipod touch 4, the list is not aligned properly,

Not a dynamic site, so its not a media query issue

difficult to debug !

thanks

here is one a found using a quick google search:
http://iphone5simulator.com/

I'm sure there are others for the ipod touch as well.

Thanks Jason, but unfortunately all this site does is render the page within the 'screen'

It doesn't reproduce what i am seeing on the iphone or ipod touch

Craig, have you tried the simulator that's part of Xcode from Apple? Huge download, but its free. I believe the latest version includes the simulator for iphone 5. StackOverflow results say that its referred to as iphone (Retina 4-inch) in the device options. Just a thought.

Thanks, will give it a shot.

Have just downloaded edge inspect CC, will look at that too.

Cheers

Update - Must admit though, Edge Inspect looks awesome, you link your mobile device to your computer and you can inspect the code as it appears on the mobile device.

Proper feedback when I've had a play, - and hopefully fixed the problem

Yeah, I use Edge Inspect to tether my computer, ipad and iphone all the time. Its pretty invaluable and very convenient. It just gets tricky when you're testing locally using virtual hosts through MAMP or MAMP Pro. If you're doing that and get error messages or the page won't load, post back here. I can document what I've done for you to make it work.

yeah, I found it won;t work with apache virtual host locally, so working with files on my test server, but Its a big step forward !

Okay, this is what fixed it for me since I'm using MAMP Pro. Use the following as your path when previewing your site in the browser: (obviously fill in your info where appropriate)

http://yourhost.yourIPAddress.xip.io/fileName.php

In DW's site manager inside your localhost server settings, set your Web URL to http://yourhost.yourIPAddress.xip.io/

Using virtual hosts, I'm now able to tether all devices together successfully. For more info on xip.io check out this link:

Cheers for that.. will take a look

Tried tweaking my Dreamweaver site settings, but no luck with this.

Do I need to edit my vhosts file too ?
