Where's the Coupon Code tutorial or documentation?
Sorry for such a silly question but I've dug everywhere on your site. I see references to it on forums, but I can't seem to find it.

That tutorial has not been converted to the new system yet, the archived version can be found here:

I've been through the tutorial twice and the code is having no affect on my cart total. Can you offer some quick troubleshooting direction?
Scratch that, there was a typo in the session variable name. Something strange still going on as the discount amount is showing in the Grand Total display, but I'll keep digging...
if you need further assistance, send a copy of the cart display page and a link where I can see the problem.
So if I do the discount as is in the tutorial (10% off), it works fine. However, if I apply a flat rate discount (minus $25), I get the grand total displaying as the discount and the discount amount showing as the grand total! I can't make any sense as to why it would flip dependent upon whether I was using "times" or "minus" in the Discount rule. Help?
from my previous reply:
Including login and attachments privately...
Looking at the cart page, i cant see how this should be working at all.
the main problem with how this is set up is that the text field for entering to the promo code is in it's own form, and that form does not have it's own submit button.
It should not be possible for the promo code to submit at all.
move the text field so that it is in the main cart display form and use the update button as the trigger for setting the session.
the session is also set to use the GET variable, it should be set to use the post variable.
