sercurity pages using existing dw templates

Is there a way of creating security pages (registration, log-in, forgot password etc) using security assist on existing DW templates with editable regions?

there are 2 ways to go about this:

1) Apply the template to the pages created by the security assist wizard after they are created.

2) Create a new page based on the template, and add the security assist pages to it using Framework builder plugins.
