Paul

Invalid format Please enter your name

I am using the form builder and before anything is entered, the phone, fax and email fields show this:

Phone: Invalid format. Please enter your name
Fax: Invalid format. Please enter a full email address
Email: Invalid format. Please provide a comment

They aren't even on the correct field and nothing changes when I enter the field information.

What did I miss?

looks like you haven't got the correct path to the spry validaton css

it looks like you are linking to them on lines 448/449, so it may be you haven;t transferred the SpryAssets folder to your testing server

Thanks, Craig, but I do have the folders uploaded. It is funny that if DW says "Do you want to include all files and you say yes, that it should send it up...but the folders were already up there.

So I'm still at a loss. This form is right out of the wizard. I didn't edit or change anything post wizard.

But, why does it show the wrong validation anyway? The name validation after the phone number?

I recreated the saved preset that I had. The validations are now hidden, but the warning texts are still incorrect. I changed it in the page next to the field, but it is still showing up wrong in the browser.

I've reattached the new file. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Jason,

We are in the process of moving to a new hosting company and the present host is not showing some of the php pages. The best I can do is attach the file.

I know it shows correct on the page in the code because I manually changed it. But when it is viewed in the browser, the incorrect statements are being shown for the Phone and Email fields. It says to Please enter your name and Please leave a comment, respectively.

I also noticed, that I don't have a UE server behavior to change the redirect page. I've remade the file twice, but no luck.

Ok...what I did was to recreate the page one more time. The UE server behavior showed up and I was successfully able to have the page redirect.

The validations are still incorrect. I've attached the NEW page called: form.php. It is raw without my template being applied to it.

Let me know what you see...

Jason logged in and found the text was actually in the CSS Form Builder interface. When you edit the form, and edit the text/group block itself, in the SET, there is a Validation error message window. For some reason it was incorrect there, but he found it and I was able to fix it.

in the source code i see the following:

<div id="SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Defa<link href="SpryAssets/SpryValidationTextField.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

this should be:
<div id="SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default"><link href="SpryAssets/SpryValidationTextField.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

cant say why that is happening, just that it is.

make sure that you have the latest version of data Bridge installed (1.1.4)

same with the bsiteDevelopmentQuoteForm_Cool_Default_ProgressWrapper"> if delteing that works, then you'll need to dcelete it.

as for editing the email message, see the following tutorial:
