Udate form blank

I created an update form, but it is blank. When I log in to update my member info I go to the update form but it is blank. I filled it out and it is updating the proper record for the member that is currently logged in but the form is initially blank. How do I get it to show the record that is being updated.

you need to create a recordset to look up the logged in user.

then edit the form elements to use the recordset columns for the initial value.

Well, I created a recordset to look up the session variable, but still nothing. I placed the account number session variable on the page to make sure the session variable was working, but I still get nothing in the form.
I've attached the form so you can take a look.
Thanks for your help!

the form elements are not bound to the recordset.

for each form element, select it in design view, in the property inspector, click the lightning bolt icon and select the corresponding column from the recordset.

The bindings were set using the webassist bindings panel to the database and that was doing nothing, so I set the value in Dreamweavers properties.

Now, the data is in the form but it won't update.

In the Update behavior, you are using the recordset bindings. edit the Update behavior to use the form bindings instead.

Ok, It's working now, but I'm not exactly sure what it took to build this form. That was a lot to do out side of the wizard.

Thanks a lot for your help!

what wizard did you use to create the form?

form builder?

Form builder only builds the form, it does not add functionality

for a user update page, you should use the security assist wizard to create the login, registration and user profile forms for you automaticly.
