Inline HTML Editor object not supported/ errors displaying in IE 8

I have tested the inline editing on Firefox, Safari, and IE 9+ but I am getting an "Object not supported...." in IE 8. See attached image. The overlay editing layer is not displaying properly over the editable regions pushing the Editor to the bottom of the page. The website layout is also getting pushed over to the far left side of the browser. It should be centered AND finally the CSS Dropdown Menu (horizontal) has lost its css features and turned into text links. Are there known issues with this inline editor in IE 8?

When i view your page while logged in, IE is using quirks mode which uses the IE 5 rendereing engine.

in the source, the CMS inline script is above the doctype tag.

I am not able to access your files through FTP, so i cant see the code, but it looks like you have skipped step 3 of the Design Extneder Update instructions:

http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=225

which is to locate the following code on your pages:
<?php require_once("WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php"); ?>

and move it to be within the head tags.

Jason, I checked the code and step 3 was completed. Notice the 'include' line right before the closing of the </head>. I even tried putting the code line right after the open <head> tag. See image
