Ecart or Superstore?

I am about to create 2 sites for the same client - a car wreckers (parts) website and a new 4X4 parts neither of which require a checkout for the foreseeable future.

Looking at eCart it seems to be able to do the job however I wanted to know what was quicker / easier / more suitable - eCart or Superstore?

Obviously SS has templates etc so I guess would be quicker.. but would eCart be sutable for this job? Wanting to decide which to purchase.. Would like to have internal search engine and featured products like wrecks for sale or 'now wrecking' etc..

Also can either be cloned?

Thanks,
Webulosity

Power Store would be the quickest to implement.

Power Store is a prebuilt application that includes the product catalog, search, shopping cart and other features.

eCart is a tool that you can use to add a Shopping Cart and checkout to an existing catalog.

you would use Data Bridge to create the catalog display, then add eCart to the Data Assist pages to add the shopping cart.

Think in terms of buying a house that is already built versus building one yourself.
