BOGO Coupon? or i'll take any suggestions!

I'm stuck and need help! I need to create a Coupon or somehow do it, i don't care if its not with an actual coupon because no code is necessary....

But i need to make a sale for Buy one shirt get one free.... my problem is, that its only good for certain shirts, like Polo's and not on T-s, good news is the polo's are all $45... BUT the bad news is, that the customer can buy say a Small of one kind of Polo and get a Large of a different Polo, so its not like i can just say, "we'll put 2 in the bag for you" ....

I've been racking my head for hours trying to figure out how to do this.... Is there a way? Any Suggestions??

Sale starts on Friday!

since all of the discountable shirts will cost the same, this is fairly easy.

add a new column to the cart called canDiscount.

for items that the discount can apply to, set the value of this column to 1 and items that the discount foes not apply to, set the value to 0.

set the discount in the caart as:

Trigger:
"Number of Items With a specific column value"
if the number of items where "canDiscount" is ">" a value of "0"

Calculation:
"Flat Rate":

for the flat rate enter the following code:
floor($this->ConditionalTotal("Quantity", "canDiscount", "1") / 2) * 45
