File Manager display properly IE10

Databridge's File Manger displays fine in all browsers (Mac or PC) except in IE9 or 10. What setting in IE do I need to change so the Manager functions properly (i.e., so all of the subdirectory's folders & icons display and the Manager functions)?

Now, I have to hit the "Compatibility" icon in IE, then click on one of the FM's icons (usually the "I") until a popup appears complaining about a script that runs too long. When I click on the "End Script? button in the popup, the Manager refreshes and then displays all of the sub-folder icons and behaves properly. The next time I open FM, I have to repeat the above to get it to work again.

The KFM package used for the file manager have not released aan update that is compatible with IE 10.

In the HEAD of "webasssist/kfm/index.php" place this line of code:

<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=9" >

this will force it to use the IE 9 rendering engine.
