Modifying Field Settings and Validations

Hi,

I have set up a login system and included password encryption, and admin / user level authentication.

I went to test and found that i had accidentally put a password type input on the username (when I want it to show real text) and it is set to a minimum number of characters (which I don't want to have). Inversely, I have accidentally put the password as text instead of the required password input (eg ***). (as attached)

Can you tell me how to modify this. I have tried clicking on the server behaviors etc but can't figure it exactly (ideally it would be great to find / edit the content as it shows on this page : http://assets.webassist.com/html-help/333/field_settings.html )

Thanks
Nic

in design view, select the user name field, then switch to code view.

it will have the code for the user name form element highlighted.

the element will start as:
<input type=password"

change that to:
<input type="text"
