Jamie

cURL was unable to post to the webassist server

I have been having a problem with a couple of sites with "MySql has gone away" so have deleted one of the sites to start the install from scratch to see if that sorts it but I am getting this error at stage 1 of the installation - see attached.

Thanks

You will have to contact the host to have them allow the cURL post to the webassist servers.

The install script is trying testing a post through cURL to the https://www.webassist.com server.

The error on the diagnostic page is saying that the cURL post failed.

if the cURL post failed, it will be a problem on the server side preventing the connection to our site.

attached is a cURL test file you can use, if this cant connect to the https://www.webassist.com server, you will need to contact the host to determine why.
