Issue with adding ecart Object the add or edit is grayed out

the image shows that eCart is greyed out and i tried re-installing it and also installing dreamweaver from scratch as well as updated dreamweaver and also installing Ecart first before DataBridge and the other way around..

Can some one help me with this

I think this site is saturated with these types of issues and i need resolution because it's frustrating to install and re-install all things over and over again beta testing your software.....if this doesn't work then the Extention is useless and i'll simply ask for my money back

What is your version of Dreamweaver?

What version of eCart?

What other extensions, including the version numbers, are installed?

Make sure that you have a dynamic site defined in dreamweaver, and that you have a PHP page for the site open.

make sure that eCart is activated, try going to Insert -> WebAssist -> eCart -> Add to Cart Button, this will prompt to activate eCart.

IF the Add button is still disabled, try clicking the cart icon directly under the Add button this can trigger the add button to become active.

What is your OS?

What Version and build number of Dreamweaver are you using?

Do you have a Dynamic site properly defined?

Do you have a php page that is saved to the site open in Dreamweaver?

Switched from my tester project to a live eCart site. I wanted to use my new found knowledge on coupons. However, eCart object is grayed out as the first poster's attached image.

I dumped the .dat file, restarted DW.
Yes, php page open. Yes, site defined, was working fine 2 days ago. Yes, current version. Used eCart 10 minutes ago on another domain, so no conflicts with extensions.
Opened a new test page, did the Add Cart button. OK. But the cart object is still grayed out.

Any other tips for getting object to show?

thanks

UPDATE…. closed that test page. Reopened and object panel appeared.
Maybe this will help someone else… Sorry for noise.
