I am writing to ask about setting up a My Account section. When I create an account with you it takes me to my own personal page with a number of different headings and personal information. I'm assuming that this is dynamically created. When a person registers do you have a script that automatically creates their account and the database tables or is this handled some other way. Is this something I can do using your extensions, I have them all?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm about to create a website for a publishing business. While most of the pages will be public there will be a My Account section where authors can log in to create their profile, upload their books, check on the status of their project, check on their royalty payments and so on.

I was wondering how you accomplished this, whether it can all be done using only your extensions or if additional scripting and applications were needed. I want to get an idea of the various processes needed before I jump in and start the coding.

This can be done using Data Bridge.

Data bridge contains security assist which is used for creating a login and registratin system

When a user logs in, their ID is stored in a session variable this is used to track the user on the site and create the My Account section..
