Trouble with sending an attached submitted file with Universal Email.

Trouble with sending an attached submitted file with Universal Email.

I have set up a form and used Universal Email to send an email when it's submitted and I have got a file field where a user adds a file, but it's not being sent as an attachment. Having looked through other posts here I have checked the behaviour is using 'Submitted File' and I have also checked that the code is set to "post" on the page....

<form enctype="multipart/form-data" class="NewFromBlank_Default" id="ContactwithCAPTCHA_NewFromBlank_Default" name="ContactwithCAPTCHA_NewFromBlank_Default" method="post"

This has come straight from form builder, then had universal email added to it, so the code is as is from the extensions.

What's gone wrong?

Are you using the File Upload server behavior or not?

The Submitted File option will only work if File Upload is not used.

if file Upload is being used, then you need to use the Enter Value Option, click the lightning bolt icon, from the WA Uploaded Files binding group select the server file name, copy the server file name code, then select the server directory binding, and paste the server file name binding code after the server directory binding code.

I do have a file upload behaviour in my behaviours panel! Can I just delete it because I don't need it to upload to the server in this instance. I just need it to send the attachment direct to the recipient. Will just deleting it make it work?

Thanks

yes, deleting the upload behavior should make the Submitted file option work.
