3 sites went down using PowerCMS builder for no apparent reason. At the same time I noticed the webassist site was down as well. Why?

Is there a direct correlation? The sites are back up and running now.

Glad to hear they are working again.

So is this a correlation with the Web Assist site being down and will this potentially happen again? These 3 sites are using the older Dreamweaver plugin which creates the connection to the db in the header.

<?php require_once('Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php'); ?>
<?php require_once("WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php"); ?>

and then this method to pull in the content areas
<?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'Home', 'Content'); ?>

In what way did the sites "Go Down"?

The CMS content was not being displayed on the site pages? that would have no correlation to our site difficulties.

The sites were down completely. No problems on the servers or with the db. As soon as I removed the cms code the sites were pulling up. Just as I was removing all the cms code, the sites came back up.Then all of the sudden they were back up and running about the same time that I noticed that webassist.com was up and running.

Imposible to tell what the cause was without being able to access the site files during the issue to troubleshoot.
