I just had 3 sites go down using PowerCMS builder for no apparent reason. At the same time I noticed that your site was down as well.

3 of my sites using PowerCMS builder went down today for no reason. Your site was down is well. My question is why and is there a direct correlation? My sites haven't been updated from the CMS end for at least a year.

In transitioning to our new site, we have been having problems with the new server, and the SSL Certificate for our secure section. We are working hard to correct these issues and hope to have them corrected as soon as possible.

We new have the site back online and the SSL Certificate issue should be corrected within the hour.

Let us know if you still experiencing issue this afternoon.

Hey Jason

Sorry you guys have been having a 'mare.

Just wondering if a new PCMS install kicking this error out at step 1 is from the same issues you're having?

cURL [7.24.0] is installed , however cURL was unable to post to the webassist server at https://www.webassist.com. You will not be able to complete the installation without activating through the webassist web site. .

I'm having the same error as Jamie. I assume that is the problem as I have done several other installs recently on the same server with no issue. Please advise. Thank you and good luck on the new site. It looks great!

Anonymous - Is there any direct relationship to your sites being down and the PCMS server going down. I should not think the two have anything to do with each other. If they do, that is a huge unnecessary risk and an equally large concern with your websites long term performance.

I had the same question. If a live PowerCMS site requires access to a WA license server to work... whoa... I would be concerned.

they do, at least the standalone version of pcms does. I cannot speak to the builder version ,as I do not have that... but I would assume it is the same

and that is back end and front end

I don't understand why the check would apply for production sites, I can see development??
