Email Attachment does not attach

I have created a form that with a file field - the form sends the email just fine. The file uploads to a folder just fine. However, when using universal email to attach the uploaded file, the email I receive does not contain the attachment.

I have the form posting to itself.
I have universal email redirecting to a different page (which works just fine).

What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.

you are using the upload file behavior to upload the file to the server?

if this is the case, on the attachments tab, select to use the entered value option for the attachment. Click the lightning bolt icon and select the WAS Uploaded File (File field Name) -> Server Directory binding. Copy the code for the server directory, then select the Server File name binding. in the code window that shows the server file name, place your cursor before the server file name binding and paste the code for the server directory in front of it.

Thanks for the help! Everything works fine now.

Just curious. Is upload required to make the file attach?

no, if you dont use the upload behavior to save the file to the server, you can use the submitted file option
