unable to edit database with user credentials

I'm setting up CMS Builder on new site. Have the database connection. Have several users. None work with my initial page setup. Tried making a new connection in Dreamweaver but that didn't help. Have tried several pages too.

My database connection is fine but yet it's telling me my credentials aren't right.

I'm running DW CS6 with Windows 7.

I started over

I uninstalled the extension and then reinstalled and started completely over after deleting everything. All went fine until I got to login. I'm using the username and password in my connection file. I'm not sure what login it thinks I should be using.

thank you

During the install, one of the steps is to set the Admin username and password. This is what should be used for login, not the database username and password.

if you are unsure what you entered, you can use PHPMyAdmin or another MySQL QUI tool to access the power cms database, look in the wa_settings table for the admin username and password.

all good now!

I was able to look up login in database and it worked so I'm in. But I don't think I used that in setup. But I don't care. I'm in.

I don't like how Builder put all the folders at the root. The older version used to make one folder and put everything in it. I like to keep Dreamweaver neat and minimize all the files/folders I need to look through. Just a little feedback.

Thanks for the help.

login

I think it had to do with the fact that I started over. That's why my login was messed up.
