Form Action (encrypted password)

Hello Jason,

can you tell me, if I can use this FORM ACTION anytime I use IDs in the URL to uldate?

<?php echo (htmlentities($_SERVER["PHP_SELF"], ENT_QUOTES)); ?>?<?php echo preg_replace("/^&/", "", preg_replace("/&?invalid=true/", "", $_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"])); ?>

When I use this

<?php echo (htmlentities($_SERVER["PHP_SELF"], ENT_QUOTES)); ?>

The update or delete of my recorset does not work.

Is the first one ready to use on every update or delete? I dont understand the first FORM ACTION. In my case I only use ID as integer parameter.

Cheers,
Denis

use this for the action if you want to preserver Query string variables:

php:
 action="<?php echo (htmlentities($_SERVER["PHP_SELF"], ENT_QUOTES)); ?><?php echo (isset($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]) && $_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] != ""?"?".htmlentities($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"], ENT_QUOTES):""); ?>"

Thanks a lot.

so the first one is only for the RETURN PAGE of the Mail Encrypted Password behavior?

the first one will keep the URL variables, but it has extra code to remove the "invalid=true" url variable from a failed validation.
