Issue with user levels

Issue with user levels

I have the following set up working well:

A single table of users, with three user levels:

- administrators
- product owners
- tour operators

It all works as it should - with rules to determine access to different pages depending on user level of user logged in.

And the menu page has a conditional show if... So that only options relevant to each user level is displayed.

The issue is with administrators adding new users. Basically if an administrator is logged in, and creates a new user, once that is done, it then appears that the new user is currently logged in, rather than the administrator who added the new user.

The way I usually set it up when a new record is added is to just redirect to a 'record updated.php' page, with links to either return got the menu, or add another new record. So my best guess is that the user ID session isn't getting transferred to the record updated page.

Does that sound where I might have gone wrong? What do I need to add to fix this?

Thanks.

in the insert record behavior, check the session variable section.

make sure the name of the session that will store the inserted record ID is not the same session name you are using for security assist login.
