Combine login and registration forms on the same page

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to combine the WADB Security Assist login and registration forms onto one page yet?

Any pitfalls that you encountered? :)

you can use the security assist wizard to generate the login and registration pages.

on the login page, if you select the Auto Login option, there will be 2 authenticate user behaviors added, the first one is used if the form is submitted, the other is used if the auto login checkbox is checked, double click the first one to edit it, and change the trigger to the Login button pressed instead of the default any form post trigger.

you can then add the login and registration pages to another main page using Framework builder plugins.

all of the other behaviors on the pages created by the wizard use the form buttons as the trigger, and each of the forms use unique names for the buttons.

Thanks Jason,

I had figured out the behaviour triggers, but didn't even think to use the plugin functionality.

Thanks! ;)

A few other things to note.

So, as I went through this process using the plugin method I also found the following things that I needed to change.

  1. Behaviour for uris appending "?invalid=true" would trigger for both forms so I had to change them to "?invalidLogin=true" and "?invalidReg=true" respectively
  2. tabindexes were contradicting each other, so I changed the registration form to use tabindexes from 11 and up.

I'll post back here if I figure out any other elements that need to be changed. :)
