Login problem

Hi Jason

I have created all the pages, i have the registration page working fine, when i test my file after registered the page is going straight to the login page if successful as i wanted but my problem is when the user log in, after successfully log in, the page doesn't go to the page i want to be opened after successfully log in. It stays at the log in page, how can i direct the user to the page i want the user to go after successfully log in?

Cheers

Hi Jason

I have created a registration then login page, the registration and login page work fine but when i test them the login page doesnt go to the other page i want once i log in. Let say you register to a webassist, you fill the registration page, once you do that you are now allow to log in with your details. After log in with your detail, and press log in button, if successful you can visit the your history or download page. Mine is just static, it doesn't open any page once i log in.

On the login page, open the server behaviors panel, in the server behaviors list, double click the Security Assist Authenticate User server behavior to edit it and change the login success redirect page.

There are 2 instances of the Security Assist Authenticate User server behavior, one for when the auto login option is enabled, the other for when the login form is submitted, you will need to edit both.

The default login page configuration when using the wizard will redirect a successfull login to the target page requested by the user. Only if the user goes straight to the login page to login will they be left on th same page if successfull.

This works well if youve designed th login process to behave that way.
One either edits the behaviour as descrubed above or place links on the login page to other pages.
