Reload part-filled form

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can offer any advice...

I have a form for a client to add a product to their website within which there is a group of checkboxes used for the client to select any number of tags/keywords associated to this product. At the bottom of this section I have a text field into which they can add a keyword that may be missing from the list, and a button beside it which submits that keyword to the database and reloads the page displaying this newly added keyword within the list. It's working fine, but the issue I have is that any text entries or other selections the client has made on the form before submitting the new keyword are being lost on the page reload. Is there anyway these can be captured within a session variable which can then be passed along with the page url for the redirect path of the 'Add Keyword' button?

Many thanks in advance.
Paul

Use the Set Session Value behavior for each form element.

On the server behaviors panel, click the plus button and select WebAssist -> Cookies -> Set Session Value

For the trigger, select any form post, For the value, click the lightning bolt, expand the forms collection and select the first form element in the list. Set the name to the the same as the selected form element.

repeat this for each form element.

now in design view, select the first form element, in the property inspector, click the lightning bolt icon next to initial value (For checkboxes or select lists, click the dynamic button) and select the corresponding session variable.
