Errors trying to redirect to thank you page

My form works and sends to my email just fine. However, I've had a problem trying to get it to redirect to a thank you page after submission. I used the error code and it came up with these errors:

It still won't redirect to thank you page. What do they mean?

the error means that there is output on the page that is causing the header() function to fail on redirecting.

according to the error, the problem is happening at line 1 of the contact.php:
output started at /home5/richwsco/public_html/ym/nova/contact.php:1

either there is output before the first opening php tag on your page, or the BOM Signature is enabled for your page.
