Data Assist use after initial setup help

Hello, Ive setup a basic store using data Assist and Ecart. The store it www.thetotalcat.com When I did the setup if was new to the world of ecommerce. I only setup the front of the the store and not the inventory backend. My question is, once I have gone thru the setup and finished the store as Ive done, Can I use Data Assist to go back in and add and make changes like adding the inventory site?

And is yes, which tutorial do you suggest.

Thanks,Sam

More Info

I guess what Im asking is after I build a store with the data assist, can you use the data assist to later change or add to the store or is it just used to do the initial building?

I want to add the inventory backend and a login process that was never put on the first time.

Thanks, sam

Data Assist can be used to add onto the site after it is created initially.

By "inventory back end", do you mean pages to add new products to the database, or edit existing ones?

if so, yes, this can be easily done using the data assist create pages wizard.

you can also use security assist to create the login section and restricting access to the product management pages.
