Pound sign icon appearing
In a Dreamweaver cs6 page text I am getting some small question mark icons appearing.
These appear where there is £ sign.
Any ideas how I can avoid these question Mark icons appearing please?
Many thanks
John

i cant say where the ? characters come from, but to show the pound symbol, you should use:
£
for example:
<td class="main">UK £ 9250 </td>
Thanks Jason
I can use that but lots of records are already in the table and mySql does not seem to have a find and replace like access has.
I expect it will be a copy column into Excel
Find and replace
Then copy colum and paste back into Mysql column.
find and replace can be done with the SQL REPLACE() command:
replace.html
how-to-do-a-find-and-replace-with-phpmyadmin.html
Many thanks for that Jason, that should become very useful!
Regards
John
