menus as product search

Hello~

How can I make the menus function as search criteria?

As an example, we're selling lots of different types of water filters. In my drop-down menus, I have Carbon Filters as a menu item. How do I tie that to ecart so if they click that link, all the carbon filters will come up as a product search?

Thanks!

use data assist saerch to create a search form and a results page.

when you use the search form it should show URLs variables in the querystring.

use those URL variables in the menu links.
