Session values not clearing and repopulating

It's this forum I am building again!

Basically, I have a list of forums, the user clicks on a forum to view and a session is created. If the user then visits another forum that has no threads within it, then title of the forum from the first still remains. The session seems only to be populated by the posts within it even though I have set the session to populate from another recordset.

I have a clear session applied to the pages forum.php and forum_rresults.php, so at the very least I would expect the session to be empty returning blank info, but it's not!

The actual pages in action can be seen at http:emaress.co.uk/ktc/forum.php, and the top two forums have posts in them, and you can see that they are not clearing the session correctly by the 'breadcrumbs' effect I have going on at the top of the page. It's not until I move to the details page of a post that the session is correcting itself, and yet in the forum.php and the forum_results.php I have a clear session values in place!

Pages in question are attached. Any thoughts why these sessions aren't working for me and what I am doing wrong? I've tried in different browsers and cleared history etc.

I think i am missing something, walk me through the exact steps I should take when viewing your site to see the problem please.

I've now replaced the session variable with a binding from the recordset, so visually, the site looks to be working OK, but the problem of sessions not clearing still exists! I'll revisit this at a later date as I need to move on and sort another session related problem!

ok, without being able to see the problem it is impossible to troubleshoot, so let me know when you are back on this issue.
