imports zero files

Thread began 1/08/2013 11:23 pm by sam308940 | Last modified 1/09/2013 10:17 am by sam308940 | 475 views | 1 replies |

imports zero files

So earlier today i successfully import 4 times or so.

but i came back tonight to do a few more, and i get an instant "completed" notice, but it downloads zero of everything. i tried multiple sites as well as my own, it will not import anything. its as if its not even trying to connect to the site.

any ideas on troubleshooting?
i think i read every thread in this forum, doesnt seem anyone had this issue before.

i solved this myself.

FYI for anyone searching this........

i had gone into IE and selected to work offline. (i wanted to view the downloaded files and see what it viewed as without outside files that were be called in the scripts). somehow this affected DW ability to connect to the internet as well. As soon i went back to IE and deselected the work offline option, site import suddenly worked again.

i do not use IE often so i dont know why this affected DW, but it did.
