Dynamic linking with parameters

Hello
I have a Page1.php page with a 200 pix image
I have a page2.php with a large image

I want to create a link from Page1 to page2 to link to and have a (large) image that shows on page2

After creating the link from page1 to page2 I then click on parameters.

In Parameters Name column I selected the RecordID (RecNo)
In the Parameters Value column I select the Image column.

When page2 opens the url which shows is:
/page2.php?10037=BoatImages/036.jpg

but the image does not show.
I think most likely I have the parameters wrong.

I wondered if there is a tutorial about this type of linking

on the largepic page, set the recordset to filter the RecNo column using the RecNo URL variable that is passed in the link.

That was correct however I had to create 2 new pages before I could get it to work. I have noticed this previously since I have had CS6. Is this something to be expected?

something may have become corrupted in the original pages causing it to not work, hard to say.

Just for info,

I deleted a recordset but had to remove a chunk of code left in by the removal before another recordset would work.

Dreamweaver can sometimes leave code behind when removing recordsets.
