DataAssist is creating an unexpected FORM on the results page.

CS5.5
Installed extensions in order of installation
eCart 5.0.6
Design Extender 1.1.1
Data Bridge 1.1.1

Using WebAssist > Database > DataAssist Pages

I am trying to add only a very simply Search and very plain Results page so that I can use eCart Add to Cart Button on the Results page. A form is added to the results page every time regardless of how minimal I make it.

Here is the code it's producing for the form: NOTE: I can provide all files if necessary.
----------------------------------------------------------------
<body>
<div id="Results_Basic_Default_ProgressWrapper">
<form class="DetailsPage Basic_Default" id="Results_Basic_Default" name="Results_Basic_Default" method="post" action="<?php echo (htmlentities($_SERVER["PHP_SELF"], ENT_QUOTES)); ?>">
<fieldset class="Basic_Default" id="Results">
<legend class="groupHeader">Results</legend>

<div class="WADAResultsContainer">
----------------------------------------------------------------

I've tried this three time with the same results.

Steps:
Page Settings -
<New From Blank>
Simple table with 3 columns
<-- unstyled>

Manage Pages -
Configured my one search field from Text to Menu and linked it dynamically

Added Search Page with 1 search criteria
Include a search form on the results page is UNCHECKED
Changed the page name

Added Results Page with layout type Admin
Removed check from Include delete button in results list.
Added two of the 3 columns for the results table and do not have any of them linked to a details page as I wont have a details page.
No check in details page link.
Sorted on one of the columns ASC
Changed Show Rows to ALL
Renamed Results page.
Clicked finished.
(made no other changes to server settings or added any other pages)

a form tag will be added to the results page by default.

are form elements being added or only the form?

if no elements are added, you can remove the form tag.

It does not look like any form elements are added.

Although it's a simply fix to remove the form tags I see this as a support issue since the tags are surrounding the table where you might want to add an Add to Cart Button behavior and DW balks at forms within forms.

Thanks for the help Jason!

on the data bridge support page, there is a tutorial that walks through adding eCart to data bridge pages, removing the form is a step in that tutorial.

I trust that you're right. I have been using the eCart getting started guide and have always used Web Assist. This is my first attempt at pages created using Data Bridge so looks like I have more reading to do.

BTW Removing the form tag removes the Progress Bar.

yes, it will remove the progress bar. the progress bar is not intended for the eCart add to cart buttons.
