Embed link in email

Hi,

Using UE,

I can email a link of this type: <a href=http://www.mysite.com/myfile.php>Select</a>

but not: <a href=http://www.mysite.com/myfile.php?ID=$id>Select</a>

Thank you for your help.

Vince

$id is a php variable? if so, you need to add php code to echo the php variable:

php:
<a href="http://www.mysite.com/myfile.php?ID=<?php echo $id?>">Select</a>

where does the $id variable get set?

I'll need more details please.

A copy of the page that Universal Email is applied to would be helpful so i can see where and how the $id variable is being set.

do you get an error message on the page?

or does the link in the email not contain the $id value?

please be as detailed as possible.

I have redone the process after deleting the waue... file. It works now.

Sorry and thank you Jason, One learns to be humble when working in this field.
