Moving from one directory to another broke my gallery

Moving from one directory to another broke my gallery

Hi All,

I moved a client website from the directory (domainname.com/development) to (domainname.com) to make it live. I can't now access the admin area - it insists on running the install wizard again.

I synchronised everything using Dreamweaver (CS6)

Don't really want to do this as I had it set up just the way I liked it. Anybody any ideas what's going on?

TIA

Andrew

make sure you move the files from the domainname.com/development/Connection folder to domainname.com/Connection folder

Hi Jason,

I thought PowerGallery didn't use a connection, but in any case, I rebuilt the gallery anyhow - will bear that in mind next time!

Cheers,

Andrew

The Gallery information is stored in a database, so the gallery needs to use a connection in order to connect to the database to store and retrieve the gallery information.
