Validate add to cart field

I've got a form field connected to ecart Add to cart from Recordset SB. How do I validate this field in order to be sure that no one adds for example "1.3" bottles of wine to the cart?

And how do I valiate the shopping cart itself the same way when the user updates the cart?

I couldn't find a way to restrict the field or round the field content to the nearest whole number with your tools.

Thanks for any help

You should be able to edit your eCart object by double clicking on it in the Server Behaviors panel. Then go to the Columns tab and select the Quantity column and change it from Output type: Number to Output type: Integer. That will make it ignore any decimals and only hold whole numbers.
