User Update error

User Update error

I am so close to being done with creating a double-op-in registration system, but cannot find the problem causing this error message on the User Update page.

When you click the 'update' button, you receive this error message:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' `emailVerified` = 1 WHERE `UserID`=8' at line 1

I am 'UserID' 8 in the table and my email has been verified so it shows a '1' in the field.

The show-if statement stating that my 'email is unverified and that I need to click for a new link' shows at the top of the User Update page, even though it is verified.

Let me know if you need any of my files to help troubleshoot. And all the registration pages are live so I can send you a link if you'd like.

Is the field in the database named emailVerified (case sensitive)?

I'll open a support incident so that we can help you debug this in a screen sharing session since I don't see the problem based on the error alone.

Thanks for your reply~

Yes, the field name is 'emailVerified' with a capital 'v' as directed by your tutorials... that's how I've entered it whenever I've referred to the field.

Thank you so much for your help~
