using Spry tool tips within Show Region

Sally

using Spry tool tips within Show Region

I have a Delete button with a tool tip ("Delete entry") which is wrapped in a SA Show for Admin only. The problem is if you are not signed on as the Admin, you get a Spry Widget Tooltip ERR that the element #sprytrigger3 does not exist on the page.

I tried wrapping the <div> with the tooltip in a Show Region but can't wrap the javascript. So I guess that's what's generating the error. I've attached the page.

If I have to I can remove the tooltip for the Delete button, but I'm wondering if there's another way? Thanks.

You can wrap the script manually by putting the show region code around it like:

<script type="text/javascript">
var sprytooltip1 = new Spry.Widget.Tooltip("sprytooltip1", "#sprytrigger1");
var sprytooltip2 = new Spry.Widget.Tooltip("sprytooltip2", "#sprytrigger2");
<?php if(WA_Auth_RulePasses("Admin")){ // Begin Show Region ?>
var sprytooltip3 = new Spry.Widget.Tooltip("sprytooltip3", "#sprytrigger3");
<?php } // End Show Region ?>
</script>
