retaining checkout form select form values

Thread began 12/21/2012 11:50 am by bryan107833 | Last modified 12/21/2012 12:21 pm by bryan107833 | 593 views | 2 replies |

retaining checkout form select form values

I was shown how to keep initial value with validation and session variable for text boxes -

<?php echo(isset($_GET['failed'])? ValidatedField("confirm_456","shipping_postcode"):$_SESSION['eCartCheckoutForm_shipping_postcode']); ?>" />

but what would code be for select elements?

<option value="" selected="selected" <?php if (!(strcmp("", (ValidatedField("confirm_456","cc_type"))))) {echo "selected=\"selected\"";} ?>>Choose a Credit Card</option>

Thank you.

select the select list in design view, in the property inspector, click the dynamic button.

for the select value equal to option, enter the code:

<?php echo(isset($_GET['failed'])? ValidatedField("confirm_456","select list name"): $_SESSION['session name']); ?>" />
