Issues with Ecart filling in Shipping address and modifying info

Hi.

I have a cart setup but have 2 issues.

I used webassist and ecart to setup.

It was to much to place all the info in this box so I attached a word doc with pictures and code.

The site is www.thetotalcat.com

Any help would be appreciated. Im a novice at PHP.

Thanks, Sam

the checkout page is missing the following script tag in the head section:

<script src="WA_eCart/Scripts/copyShipping.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

the checkout page wont automatically remember the info entered if the modify button is clicked.

To make it remember, on the bindings tab, open the session collection, each form element has a corresponding session variable, the names begin with "eCar_checkout_form_" then the name of the element it corresponds to.

for each element, select it in design view, then in the property inspector, click the lightning bolt icon next to Initial Value, and select the corresponding session.

for the select lists, click the dynamic button, then next to Select Item Equal to, click the lightning bolt icon and select the corresponding session

Clarification Needed

Dear Jason, Thanks so much for the reply.

I understood all but the last line. I completed all the other instructions except for the last line.

"for the select lists, click the dynamic button, then next to Select Item Equal to, click the lightning bolt icon and select the corresponding session"

If you could provide more detail on how to do this part that would be great.
I don't understand when you state to select list?
I aldo don't know what the dynamic button is?

Thanks in advance, sam

Need farther clarification

Dear Janson, If you could help me on one part here. Having a bit of trouble.

When you state to "click on the select list in design view"
Is there an menu or option called "select list" within dreamweaver?
If there is I can't find it. The only option I can find is under the menu "Insert > Forms > Select (list/menu). Everytime I do that it inserts a new field.

Im having trouble with this part. Please give details on how to do. I would really appreciate it.

in the eCart checkout form, there are select lists already on the page for billing state, billing country, shipping state and shipping country

to retain the values for those lists, you would need to follow the directions I have been trying to provide.
