js and mootools conflict?

A stand alone gallery uses this

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/PG201/js/mootools-core-1.3.2-full-compat-yc.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/PG201/js/mootools-more-1.3.2.1_min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/PG201/galleries/ribbon_fullsize/js/gallery.js"></script>

A php include on a page using

<script src="js/vendor/jquery-1.8.3.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/main.js"></script>

Results in the ribbon gallery not displaying the larger image.

Work in progress page with 2 ribbons.

commercial-building.php

Same galleries as stand alone:

index.php?gallery=4&theme=light
index.php?gallery=5&theme=light

Same gallery as a ribbon include works:

testcommercial.php

So guessing there is a conflict.

Any fixes or do I just have to not use an include?

Thanks

you are using both query and mootools at the same time, you need to set the jquery component to use noconflict.

see her for details:
