How to set a "clear" button to reset/delete the data entered in checkout page?

Thread began 12/10/2012 6:40 am by rikaG_510 | Last modified 12/10/2012 11:34 pm by rikaG_510 | 477 views | 2 replies |

How to set a "clear" button to reset/delete the data entered in checkout page?

Tried to search for the solution for this, but didn't find any...

My "confirm.php" page has "Modify Information" button that redirects to "Checkout.php" page, where a customer can modify their personal info they entered.

But there are some cases when customers (or when I am testing a site) fill out the forms in checkout page and go back to product pages, ends up not competing an order. Cart can be cleared by clicking a "clear cart" button in cart.php, but data entered in Checkout.php still remains.

I need to add "Clear" button in checkout.php page, could anyone tell me how?

Thank you for your help!

use a reset element:

<input type="reset" name="Reset" id="button" value="Reset" />

Hi Jason,

I did have reset element but obviously I was missing some element like "name" and "id"...
Now it's working perfectly.

Thank you!
